The South Carolina-Tennessee baseball series will have to wait one more day. Game 1 of the three-game set between the No. 13 Gamecocks and No. 18 Volunteers scheduled for Thursday at 7 p.m. has been delayed due to rain in Columbia, USC announced just a few hours before first-pitch. Games 1 and 2 will now be played on Friday as part of a doubleheader. The first game will begin at 3 p.m., while the second will commence approximately an hour after the first contest ends. South Carolina heads into the weekend having lost three consecutive SEC series' and nine of its last 12 games overall — including dropping midweek contests to North Florida and Charlotte.
